U.S. Department of Education Launches Video Contest for Students
The U.S. Department of Education issued a call for students to submit videos in a contest called "I Am What I Learn." The contest asks each student to lay out the reasons education is so important to his or her future. Students with a clear vision of where their education and career training can take them are encouraged to put together a two-minute video and use the link below to submit your entry. This is a great opportunity for JLCP students to gain recognition individually and for the district, and offers a chance to win a $1,000 grand prize. The deadline for submissions is Monday, Nov. 2.
